121 Days in Islands
At early in the morning, He booked a CAB for me, Its 2AM. Just, last day early morning, I reached his home from Bali, Indonesia on 27th January. So, I confused on the date of the 28th Early morning will be the same circle. It really feels like "Missing A Day". Bapan my cousin brother who stay in Khirki Village, Malviya Nagar, South Delhi. He wakes up me at 2AM. After fresh and up and taking some food, I come out from home to catch the CAB at 2:30 am towards IGI Airport. My Go Air flight fly from Delhi at 3:30 am and reached in Kolkata Airport at 5 am, after that finally My flights Take off to Indians Most beautiful and South East Asia's territory, Andaman and Nicobar Islands. With 572 group of Islands call Andaman and Nicobar Islands. But here only 34 Islands are Human habitat. These Islands are biologically, geographically and Climate-wise very much different than surface state or Surface land India. Islands are definitely under the countries but these are really separate by demographically. The Life in Islands is really very different than life in Main Land. I learned and feel the original picture of Islands in my last 2times visit to the Andaman Islands and Nicobar Islands (India), one time visit in Bali Islands and Gili Islands (Indonesia).
Finally, my flight landed in Veer Savarkar Airport at 10 AM before time. So, I have to wait at Airport for our party volunteers. So I am waiting for them at the gate, That time I felt, "I am sweating..." after 5 minutes when I touched my body, I found that, yes I am sweating...! Because I was wearing Jacket and Shokes. Suddenly I removed all. Actually, in Delhi, it was 5degree Celsius cold on the previous Night and Previous day, I came from my 10 days trip of Indonesia and Malaysia. So, my body getting confused by variation of weather. After 20 minutes, Anshi (party Worker) come with a smile and waving hand, after that Sanjay Meshack, Kannadashan, Asha, Sunil and many volunteers were come to welcome me along with Shole and etc. After that, we came to my destination hotel Dayasagar.
This is my 3rd-time visit to Andaman & Nicobar Islands. First, I came in October 2016 for one and half month, Second time I came in February 2017 for 2month and This time I stayed in this Islands from 28th January to 28 May, complete 121 Days. This time I completely involved with nature and demography of this Islands. AAM AADMI PARTY sends me in Andaman & Nicobar Islands as a State Observer. So, I have to roam every island, Every Panchayat, Every Village, Every ward, and Every road. I roam here with my Honda Car, Govt, and Pvt. Ship and Helicopter. I visited tribal remote Islands, Nancowry, Chowra, Teressa, Katchal, Kamrota, Bampoka, Nicobar, Great Nicobar/Campbell Bay etc Islands under a group of Nicobar Islands. Port Blair is a capital city of this Andaman and Nicobar Group of Islands. In Andaman, I visited Havelock, Neil, Hutbay, Rangat, Baratang, Mayabunder, Diglipur, Jirkatang, Ross, Ross and Smith, Nayakatai, SagarDweep etc islands and area under Andaman groups of Islands. Here is total 401 booth, 344 booths are in Andaman and 57 Booths are in the Nicobar Islands. As a State Observer of Aam Aadmi Party , Andaman and Nicobar Islands I have completed my 70% Booth level task in this 121 days. In Nicobar here are 4/5 Islands where no one can visit due to Aboriginal tribals habitats Islands, here in one Islands where no one visit nowadays, by helicopter some foods and medicines drop down in here. this is called Sentinal islands and Aboriginal tribal Sentilasit stay in this island. Here is 5 Aboriginal tribals are found. The government has no single policy for these aboriginal tribals in here. Govt always Ignoring this issue. "Andaman Aadim Janjati Vikash Samitee" was formed in 1976 but no positive and fruitful output from it because of Ignorance of Central Government. Still, in 2018 High-Class Main Landers are coming to Andaman to See only these people, Tourist is come to watching them as an animal in Zoo and Administration protect these Tribals as a Animals in Zoo for public enjoyment and income. My heart pain to see all this discrimination and system of our High-Class Government. Onges, Jarwa, Shompens, Sentinelese are the example among all 4lakhs population in Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Original Tribals Jarwa, Shompens, Sentinelese, Nicobarese, Andamanese are almost 30 thousand total population only in these 35 Islands.
People are so innocent, true and helpful. They don't know to harm anyone, to show off to people, Egoistic Attitude, Negative thinking for others, No Complexity, No racism and discrimination with class, cast and greed. Hindu festival celebrates in Mosque and Muslim come to Hindu Temple. Marriage also same, Hindu Muslim are tied on marriage. In last 4 months, I forget to fight with Car Driver or any people. In mainland every car are motioned with overtaking or ready to do break traffic law and people always speak with the high tone and slang word or Speak with the negative tone. but here I never find all these. In fact, Police also speak politely until and unless they found you guilty. So, After adjust or change myself with Andaman Demography and Environment within this 4month, Now I have to face problems to survive myself in the mainland.
The Administration and Government have been keeping this Islands as remote Islands and cut from Main Lands India. Only Havelock and Port Blair are always introducing as an Andaman and Nicobar Islands. But They never introduce rest of the 30 Islands due to poor communication and poor lifestyle of human habitations. Nancowry, Pillow-Millow, Great Nicobar, Teresha, Katchal, Kamota, Hutbay, Niel, Smith, Bampooka etc Islands are still underprivileged. No Internet, No Phone connection in some area, No Phone network in some area, No proper food and nutrition etc. Students have to come from one Island to another island for Schooling. Overall very poor condition to survive life in these remote Islands. Here are 22 Villages where 200 to 250 household living still Government declared these areas as a No Panchayat. It means here they don't get any kind of Panchayat Facility nor they can cast their vote in Panchayat Elections. The government uses these people as a Vote Bank and Administration using them to safeguard the Islands. overall People are Deprived.
Here was 35 Industries in 1997 to 98. Threes are Pvt plywood Industries, Twos are the govt sawmill, Nineteens are Pvt sawmill, Eleven are Matchbox & Pencil composite unit. In 2001 all industries are shut down due to Government and Administrative negligible policy. There for almost 5000 employees become jobless. Now only one sawmill running in Chatham Island. In fact, the government has no policy for Tourism also, they focus only on Port Blair and Havelock. they never focus on Local Born and Aboriginal tribals too. Andaman and Nicobar Islands are one of the best Nesting sites for Turtle in South East Asia. The Giant Leatherback Turtle, The Green sea Turtle, Hawksbill Turtle, and The olive ridley Turtle are coming to Nesting here. But these are not attractions for tourist. So, local employment also not increasing.
One thing I get shocked in here that how can Narendra Modi Government allot an Island to a Pvt company which owner is Baba Ramdev. Modi offered an Island to Ramdev to open an International Yoga Resort. It will be security thread for this South East Asia, Its nearest islands from Sumatra, Thailand, etc. and giving 24*7 security will be too much expensive for Indian Govt. Yes, he can take any Islands for medicinal plantation but the resort will be really threaded for the country and as well as Southeast Asia too But one more thing that Islands are always under observation of Oceanography department and British Indian Ocean territory/UN Law Act 1982. So let see how he make this resort in here.
I feel that I become 100% purified in between this 121 days. Purified from Soul as well as Body too. Nature is always true and pure and Andaman is Beauty of Natural Symbol. So all the people of Andaman and Nicobar also pure as much as nature are the truth. They never think negative for others and don't have any discrimination and classification mind.
Alwyas only time has been decided our Itinerary. No Astrology no palmist can direct about our life. Again I proved it in here, The Live Ocean and Nature's conversation and mutual understanding. So I always compare the mixed nature of ocean as a Lady and I made her my Girlfriend... A True Best girl Friend. Here are people don't want to attach to me, not only me, even they don't want to attach to any outsiders of the islands. Because whoever comes from Mainland, They all use and exploit them physically and monetary. Most of the IAS officer exploit women in the name of transfer their duty to a very remote Island, where is Malaria effected, No food, No communication, no network it means, As like as KALAPANI prison. So a woman is ready to compromise with body or Money. Or woman does the same for their Husbands transfer (These are the Bitter truth). Its still seem monopoly or King rule in Andaman and Nicobar islands by these Executor/Administrative officers. They get chance here because of No Internet and No National media in these Islands. Big Company or administration get chances to do big corruption in here only because of no internet and national media. So The people of Islanders never want to intimate with any people coming from Mainland, So I have to stay alone here after my work, here life is so slow so after 9 or 9:30 pm I cant do any work nor we can meet people. So, I always stay with my Girl-Friend at Morning Sun Rise time and at Evening Sun Set time... she always looks different as a lady. she always wears different Sharee with black, light black, blue, white Cloud as a Sharee and almost wearing Dupatta and Bindiya with rainbow and Lehenga wearing with different Sea color as Blue, Black, Green, White, Dark Blue, Lemon Green. At Night She doing make up with Moon and Star. sparkling star always sending flashlight to me... ultimate she is like Athena. Athena was virgin God of greek, So she calls God of Love and beauty. I really get strength and hope to see her daily. otherwise, 24 hours Political discussion and after that speak with the mirror was my 4months horrible routine. Here I found Sea is Alive.
